5 US-based photographers we'd love to collaborate with
Here is the list of exceptional brand photographers whose work will surely inspire you.
Professional photographers have the power to transform brands into stunning visuals and go beyond that by creating captivating narratives that stimulate our senses. They play a crucial role in shaping a brand's identity and universe, acting as true visionaries who can guide our perception beyond our own capabilities. Brand photography, from various perspectives, has a multitude of impacts:
from the audience, photography gives a face and place to a product or service;
for business owners, it makes their work tangible in a new way;
for the designer, it is a powerful tool that exists in synergy with the other assets of the brand, strengthening them.
At Scharf studio, we offer a diverse range of services that often involve collaboration with talented individuals or recommendations for continued endeavors. To achieve this, we consistently train our eyes, expand our repertoire, and delineate our criteria for excellence.
While we have yet to personally meet or work with them yet, there are a few exceptional photographers based in the US who profoundly inspire our creativity:
Brittney Christie is a photographer who lives between Los Angeles & Tucson. Her work is very warm and lively, with textures so instigating they make your fingers wiggle when you look at it.
She has incredible brands in her repertoire such as Moda Operandi, Bottega Veneta, and Vogue magazine. It's fascinating how wonderfully she transitions from stills to portraits. The feeling is that she manages to extract what is most extraordinary from each client like no one else could.
Naoko Maeda's photos are like seeing a world of ordinary visions recolored into enchanting beauty—everything becomes interesting. There is a very potent subtlety.
In Meghan's work, her subjects are always in motion, and it is undeniable that her photos somehow activate our sense of smell—it is fresh and delicious.
There is something very urban that permeates all of Ben Biondo's projects. There are always humans interacting with each other or with their surroundings, composing a scene. We know him for his project with Crown Affair, a brand that we greatly admire communication (and we already mentioned in the article You won't forget my name, n.3).
We hope your curiosity has been activated. Have you thought of a name to share with us? Send us a DM, we'd love to hear from you :)
Signing off,
